Some info on what we've been up to:

Sam finished his job as Men’s Discipleship Coordinator at Trinity Western University last month, and is currently down in Tri-Cities, Washington working an outage at a nuke plant – someone’s gotta pay for our trip, right? Yes, I am concerned about radiation, and have repeatedly encouraged him to wear tin-foil undies while working in the “hot” zones – so far he hasn’t complied :0)

I am finishing up my last three weeks working reception and H.R. for Young Life…I’ve been working here since we returned from Korea in 07. I’ve been accepted to take my CELTA (a TESL certificate) in September, which will be awesome!

The First Post - SE Asia here we come

In exactly one month, Sam and I will be arriving in Bangkok for a 6-week backpacking adventure through Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. We will be joined by Sam's brother, Tim, and my sister, Laura. I'm not sure how many internet cafes we'll visit, but I will try to post stories and pictures as we travel.
We've been planning this trip since before Christmas, so the fact that we're 4 weeks out is pretty exciting!
